ITINERARY

Karibu sana Tanzaia! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – JRO where we meet and followed by an hour driving to the hotel in Arusha. Time to relax and enjoy your stay!

You will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning to start your safari!

Tarangire National Park is known for its impressive baobab trees and large herds of elephants. You will go on an extensive game drive in the park and have wonderful views of the Tarangire River, which carries water all year round and thus attracts numerous wild animals. In the dry season from around July to October, Tarangire National Park is even richer than the Serengeti in terms of game concentration, as the herds come to the river to quench their thirst. Herds of elephants with more than 50 animals are not uncommon. There are over 100 species of mammals in this protected area, such as giraffe, impala, lion, Cape buffalo, zebra, hartebeest and eland. The rare kudu or the equally rare oryx antelope are also represented here. The abundance of birds in the park is also impressive. The mighty baobab trees, also known as baobabs, have a mystical effect and form a unique backdrop for an exciting day on safari.
After your tour around you will be to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Today you will have an early start to the Ngorongoro Crater. One of the few area in Tanzania where you can find such as breathtaking blend and scenery and wildlife coupled with fascinating historical and cultural element. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa.
After your morning game drive you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at hippo picnic site.
After lunch you continue with your game drive.  Later on you will drive out from the crater into the Serengeti. Finally, you reach the savannah landscape of the Serengeti. This world-famous nature reserve of superlatives is an animal lover’s dream. Covering an area of almost 15.000 square kilometres, the Serengeti is dominated by wide open plains with an abundance of game. During the drive into the heart of the Serengeti, you can already observe many wild animals in the wide plains and at the kopjes. After a game drive en route we drive to the tented camp in the middle of the Serengeti. Enjoy the evening with a good meal and listen to the sounds of the wilderness.

After a delicious breakfast at the camp, you set off today for the north of the Serengeti. But first you will go on a game drive in the Seronera area in the central part of the Serengeti. You will pass through various landscapes and wildlife areas that perfectly reflect the beauty of the Serengeti. Your experienced guide will be on the lookout for wildlife to give you the opportunity to see and photograph them in their natural environment. During the drive, you will cross the plains of the Seronera Valley where you can spot a variety of wildlife such as wildebeest, zebra, giraffe and elephant. You will also see the picturesque Felskopjes, which lie like islands in the endless savannah and offer a unique landscape.

After a short lunch break, we continue to the northern Serengeti, which is famous for its rivers and animal crossings. If you are lucky, we may witness a wild crossing of the Mara and Grumeti Rivers, where thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelles risk their lives to reach the other bank. After an exciting and thrilling drive, you will finally reach the mobile camp in the northern Serengeti, located in a privileged spot during the migration. Enjoy a delicious dinner and sunset in a breathtaking setting and look forward to another day of adventure and game viewing.

Discover the northern Serengeti on an extended game drive with your private safari guide. Set off in search of the huge herds of the legendary wildebeest migration.
Here and in the Kenyan Maasai Mara, which form a coherent ecosystem, the large herds of wildebeest can be found from July to early November. On their annual migration, they cross the crocodile-rich Mara River. The Mara River is famous for the spectacular natural spectacle that takes place here when millions of wildebeest gather to cross the great river under the supposed protection of the group. Dramatic scenes sometimes take place on the steep banks. Most river crossings take place from July to October and this is the best time for migration safaris. An incredible spectacle!

Regardless of the wildebeest, this part of the Serengeti offers good game viewing opportunities as much of the big game lives here permanently. The abundance of animals in this area is unrivalled. However, as the Mara River carries water all year round, it is always possible to spot animals outside of this period. There is a good chance of spotting cheetahs hunting in the vast plains, huge herds of elephants gather by the river and even rhinos can be seen here.

East Africa’s great animal migration is one of the most incredible natural events in the world. Around 1.5 million wildebeest, 400.000 zebras and 200.000 gazelles embark on a tireless year-round migration that takes them clockwise through the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Experience the power of migration up close in the vast savannahs of the northern Serengeti.

Today you will have the full day game drive exploring the Great Wildebeest Migration and variety of mammals, birds, and reptiles species not to forget the breathtaking scenery and sunsets.
After your game drive you will be taken back to your lodge where you will spend the night at your lodge.

Today after your breakfast you will having a last gamedrive en route while you driving out of Serengeti back to your hotel in Arusha. You will arrive at the hotel late on afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Today after your breakfast you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport just depend on your flight schedule ready to fly back home with a big smile and unforgettable memories experience of the trip of your life time in Tanzania.
