4 Days in Nyerere National Park - pure wilderness!
Nature adventures in Africa's largest national park
Highlights
The Nyerere National Park is the largest Nationalpark in Africa. Extensive steppes and savannahs, numerous river courses and dominating miombo woodlands characterize the landscape. Hippos, crocodiles and birds frolic along the great Rufiji River; elephants and giraffes come to the riverbanks to quench their thirst and are watched by the big cats of prey such as lions and leopards. The National Park is also home to the endangered African wild dogs – one of the last places to see the animals in their natural habitat. Your accommodation during the safari is a Camp at the riverbank and offers a magnificent view of the river landscape. You can spot wildlife along the river right from the camp! The experienced guides will take you into the wild African bush and show you the vast steppes and savannahs on extended game drives in an open safari vehicle. Together you will experience snorting hippos and basking crocodiles on a relaxed boat safari. The Camp overlooks the mighty Rufiji River and from your rustic hut you can watch the hustle and bustle on the river. After an eventful day on safari, refresh yourself in the pool or enjoy the African night around a cozy campfire.
