7 DAYS - BIG CATS SAFARI
TARANGIRE - NGORONGORO - SERENGETI

Highlights
From the deep roar of a lion at sunrise to the silent, calculated prowl of a leopard in the tall grass, Tanzania is the ultimate stage for Africa’s most iconic predators. This is your chance to encounter them all – lion, leopard, cheetah, and, if luck is on your side, the elusive serval and caracal – right where they rule: in the wild.
Venture into Tarangire National Park, where giant elephants roam under the shadows of ancient baobabs. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder packed with wildlife. Then, the crown jewel – the Serengeti – awaits. Spend three thrilling days chasing the Big Five across golden plains, from early-morning hunts to starlit campfires at your luxurious tented camp.
Your African adventure begins the moment you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport. One of our smiling team members will be there to greet you. As you step outside, feel the warm Tanzanian air and the thrill of the journey ahead.
It’s a short scenic drive – just about an hour – to Moshi, the charming town resting in the shadow of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll check into your comfortable lodge, enjoy a relaxing evening, and get a good night’s rest before the wild begins.
Rise and shine – it’s safari time! After breakfast, your expert guide will pick you up for the drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants.
The Tarangire River, a lifeline for wildlife year-round, draws animals from every corner – expect close encounters with elephants (sometimes in groups of 30+!), graceful giraffes, zebras, impalas, and perhaps a pride of lions in the shade. Keep your camera ready for the Maasai ostrich, the largest bird on Earth, and more than 500 other bird species.
Your day is an extended game drive through breathtaking landscapes, ending with a hearty dinner and your overnight stay.
An early breakfast fuels you for an unforgettable morning in Ngorongoro Crater – the world’s largest unbroken caldera and one of Africa’s New 7 Natural Wonders. Descend into this wildlife-rich paradise, where the grassy floor is alive with lions, hyenas, hippos, buffalo, and countless birds.
We’ll pause for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, watching these gentle giants bob in the water.
After lunch, your adventure continues as we drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. You’ll arrive in time for sunset and settle into your cosy tented lodge under a canopy of stars.
Wake up to the sounds of the wild -the call of distant lions, the chatter of birds. Today is a full-day game drive across the Serengeti’s golden plains, home to Africa’s largest population of big cats. Keep your eyes peeled for leopards in the trees, cheetahs scanning the horizon, and lion prides resting in the grass.
By evening, you’ll return to your lodge for a warm meal and the comfort of your bed in the heart of the wilderness.
The Serengeti is too magical for just one day – so we give it another! Spend the day tracking the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) while marveling at the sheer variety of life on these endless plains.
Every turn of the road could bring something unexpected – a cheetah sprinting, elephants at a watering hole, or vultures circling above a recent lion kill. After a day of thrilling encounters, return to your lodge for the night.
Enjoy breakfast with a view before your journey back toward Arusha begins. The drive isn’t just a transfer – it’s another chance for a game drive along the way. Keep your binoculars handy, as the bush still has a few surprises for you.
You’ll arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, where dinner and a comfortable bed await.
After breakfast, we’ll escort you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, carrying with you the sights, sounds, and stories of an epic safari adventure.
From the elephants of Tarangire to the lions of the Serengeti, this journey has been a chapter you’ll never forget.
