When you get to Kilimanjaro Airport, one of our team will be there to meet you. Then it’s just a short hour’s drive to the hotel in Moshi, where you’ll be staying for the night.
Today is the day you’ve been waiting for, as you begin your very own safari through the national parks in northern Tanzania! In the morning, your friendly safari guide will pick you up from your hotel. First, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park, where you’ll be amazed by the herds of elephants and the giant baobab trees. You’ll be going on an extended game drive in Tarangire. The Tarangire River, which is full of water all year round, is a magnet for wildlife and offers some truly amazing game viewing opportunities. Tarangire is home to some of the friendliest elephants in Tanzania, and it’s not uncommon to spot a herd of more than 30 of these gentle giants. Tarangire is home to over 100 species of mammals, such as giraffe, impala, lion, Cape buffalo, zebra, hartebeest, eland, dik-dik and kudu, as well as over 500 species of birds, including the largest bird in the world, the Maasai ostrich. The baobab trees are absolutely amazing, they have a really special effect and provide the perfect backdrop for an exciting day on safari.

Today, you’ll have an early start to the Ngorongoro Crater, but it’ll be worth it! It’s one of the few places in Tanzania where you can experience such a breathtaking blend of scenery, wildlife and historical and cultural elements. The crater is an absolutely amazing place – not only is it the largest unbroken caldera in the world, but it’s also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa! After your morning game drive, you’ll have a well-deserved break to enjoy your packed lunch at the hippo picnic site. After lunch, we’ll carry on our game drive, and around noon, we’ll start our journey to the amazing Serengeti National Park, where we’ll spend the night in a cosy tented lodge.

Today, after you’ve had your breakfast, you’re going to have a full-day game drive in the beautiful Serengeti National Park. You’ll get to see all kinds of amazing mammals and keep your eyes peeled for cats! After your tour, you’ll be transferred back to your lovely lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today, you’ll have a full day of game driving in the beautiful Serengeti, where you’ll get to see all sorts of amazing mammals and hopefully spot the big five! After a day of exploration, you’ll head back to your lovely lodge for the night.

After your breakfast today, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Then you’ll have an amazing game drive on the way there, and you’ll arrive at the hotel late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

After you’ve had your breakfast, we’ll be taking you to Kilimanjaro Airport, so you can catch your flight to Zanzibar. We’re sure you’ll have a fantastic time on this amazing trip from Tanzania Mainland, and we’ll be sending you off with a big smile and some wonderful memories!
