Would you like to experience all this live and in color? Then pack your suitcase, load up your camera – and off you go on your very own adventure in the African wilderness! Join us on a discovery tour and set off in search about the wild inhabitants of the savannah. And you will find what you are looking for in Africa’s oldest national park at the latest: Look forward to seeing the animal stars of Africa, the legendary Big Five, and experience a Tanzania vacation like you’ve always dreamed of.

Karibu sana Tanzania! Welcome to Tanzania! At Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your guide, who will also drive you to the country’s treasures in the coming days, and the adventure begins.

After refreshments, you set off in the direction of Tarangire National Park. On the way, you will take a break to enjoy a picnic and then embark on the first safari of your trip. Tarangire National Park is around two hours’ drive from Arusha and is particularly famous for its large herds of elephants and picturesque landscapes. Load up your camera to the brim, as the landscape offers unique photo opportunities thanks to the scattered baobab trees. If time permits and you want to experience more today, you can also visit the bomas, the Maasai houses, before heading to your accommodation.

Accommodation: Tented Camp inside the park

1x Lunchbox/Dinner

After your breakfast, you leave Tarangire National Park and make your way to Manyara National Park. You will reach Lake Manyara National Park, which includes the 50-kilometer-long Lake Manyara, after around 2 hours. Experience this scenic jewel, which offers everything you can experience on safari in Tanzania in a comparatively small area.

After lunch in the park, you set off in search of wild animals. Hundreds of baboons frolic in the trees of the forest, diademed guenons gambol nimbly through the old mahogany trees and dainty bushbucks roam cautiously through the trees and bushes. With a little patience, you can discover the large and small inhabitants and capture unforgettable moments forever. Photos are also worth taking on the shores of the lake. Large flocks of pelicans and flamingos gather here seasonally, and buffalo also like to come here to cool off from the heat. If you still have room for more experiences, you can also take a walk through the forest from the Rift Valley to Manyara.

Accommodation: Lodge in Karatu

1x Breakfast/Lunchbox/Dinner

Today’s destination is the Serengeti National Park, to which you set off in the morning. Tanzania’s oldest national park stretches from the north of the country to the south of Kenya and was christened “the endless land” by the Maasai for this reason, among others. After your picnic lunch, it’s time to explore the World Heritage Site on a safari.
The ecosystem is considered to be the most complex and least disturbed in the whole of Africa. The Serengeti National Park is particularly famous for its annual migration season, when around six million hooves make their way across the open plains to fresh pasture grass. But even when there is no migration, the Serengeti is a place where you can watch countless animal spectacles: Large herds of buffalo, smaller herds of elephants, giraffes and several thousand antelopes cluster around the lush grass and individual waterholes.

After these animal experiences, are you in the mood for something more cultural? If you wish, you can also visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum today, which focuses on palaeoanthropological research, i.e. the first humans.

Accommodation: Tented Camp in Serengeti National Park

1x Breakfast/Lunchbox/Dinner

Does seeing the wonderful Serengeti from above sound good? Then you should book a balloon safari, which is perfect for today and will give you completely new insights.  The second day in the Serengeti will definitely be used to the full today to go stalking again and get as many animals as possible in front of your lens. So have your camera ready.

Accommodation: Tented Camp in Serengeti National Park

Today you continue to the edge of the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater, a very special natural monument. The largest crater caldera in the world was formed by the collapse of a volcanic mountain and is between 17 and 21 kilometers in diameter. You can discover the scenic beauty and variety of animals on a safari. A picnic lunch will be prepared for you during a break. If time permits, you can later visit a coffee plantation in Karatu and learn all about coffee cultivation in Tanzania.

Accommodation: Lodge in Karatu

1x Breakfast/Lunchbox/Dinner

In the morning, take the opportunity to explore the village of Mto wa Mbu by bike or on foot before continuing your journey.

Today you get back on the plane. However, you are not going home, but to Zanzibar, a group of islands belonging to Tanzania. Look forward to dream beaches, crystal-clear water, coconut palms and a few days of relaxation.

After the transfer to the hotel and check-in, the next few days are entirely at your disposal. Relax on the white sandy beach, swim or snorkel in the turquoise waters and explore the island.

We are also happy to book one or more activities for you in advance so that you don’t have to worry about anything on site. For example, visit a spice farm in Stone Town and get to know the city better on a guided tour. Or sail across the sea on a dhow boat and enjoy a delicious BBQ. You can also explore a village and the Jozani Forest Nationalpark, or get to know the island’s cuisine on a Swahili cooking class. We will be happy to assist you on the various options that await you here.
