Your adventure is about to begin! You’ll be leaving Arusha in the early morning, heading towards the beautiful Napuru Waterfalls. The drive itself is a visual delight, as it winds its way through charming little villages where the locals are hard at work cultivating corn, potatoes, bananas and other delicious crops. The journey is a wonderful opportunity to experience the vibrant Tanzanian rural life, with friendly locals often selling fresh, delicious produce and beautiful handmade goods along the way.

When you get to the trailhead, your guided hike will begin. The trail to Napuru Waterfalls is a lovely one, and it’s the perfect level of challenging for everyone, whether you’re a hiker who’s been doing it for years or you’re just starting out. The hike is a lovely walk, taking about 2 hours each way and covering a distance of approximately 4 kilometers. The path is clearly marked, but it can be a little uneven and slippery, especially after rain, so it’s best to wear sturdy shoes.

The area is full of life and you’ll be able to see all kinds of birds, monkeys and other local wildlife.
